The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale has certainly gone down in Bravo history as one of the best finales in the franchise. Upon the revelation that rookie star Monica Garcia was responsible for running an Instagram page that relentlessly trolled her co-stars, she was not only ousted from the cast trip to Bermuda but she was also fired from the show. While OG star Meredith Marks has not seen or heard from Garcia since they filmed the Season 4 reunion, she also didn’t shut down the possibility of the controversial figure returning to the series in the future.

“I can’t really speak to how things will unfold,” Marks told DECIDER when asked if Garcia had any chances of reconciling with the cast. “Like, I don’t know. I always say, never say never.

” Marks noted that no one thought she “would be at peace with Jen Shah after Season 2′′ — yet she ended up being one of the only women who flew to New York to support her ahead of her trial. She also added, “I don’t think anyone thought that Lisa Barlow and I would ever reconcile.” But here they are today, in a “good peaceful space,” according to Marks.

But, as Marks pointed out, her friendships with Barlow and Shah were much different than the cast’s relationship with Garcia. “I think it might be a little different in this situation, only because, for the most part, none of us really knew Monica before,” she said. “And so it’s a little harder to reconcile something when there wasn’t more of an established pre-existing relationship like for like me and Lisa, where we had been friends previously for a very long time.

” For Marks, it’s easier to “give a little more grace emotionally to someone who you’ve known for a long time, who has been good to you for a long time that then screws up, as opposed to someone who you just met.” Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen announced in January of this year that Garcia would be taking a “break” from the show. However, he recently teased his hopes for a potential comeback in the future.

“I think Monica Garcia will [come back],” he said in a May 2024 interview with Parade . “I hope that Monica is back in some form.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premieres on Wednesday, Sept.
