Jumble puzzle• Everyday, I read the Reporter-Herald to be a more informed citizen. Then, I reward myself with the last final step distraction by completing the Jumble puzzle. Please, don’t take my joy away.
• I subscribe to the RH online only and I have to print out the puzzles to do them. Guess what? Your new format does not allow crosswords to print the squares big enough to write in. That’s probably why you are able to buy them cheaper.
Fix it.Thank youI am a disabled senior who uses a motorized cart at Sam’s. I was in there Monday morning, and numerous people, most of whom were other customers, were so kind and so thoughtful and either lifted something for me or reached something for me.
So many people willing to help, and I just want to say thank you. There are a lot of good people in the world.Saturday protestI’m one of the peaceful protesters that are on Lincoln on Saturdays.
And the noise pollution and the pollution from the diesel trucks is horrible. The police have talked to us about not crossing the street unless there’s a crosswalk, but the MAGA crowd that was there Saturday just crossed and stopped a police car, and they just let them go. I don’t think that’s quite right.
RH misogynyMisogyny runs strong in this paper. Be it those supporting ribbons and bows for girls but not work clothes, or those only giving credence to men, those who assume the lawyer fighting a traffic ticket will be a he, or those who only encourage men to write America’s obituary, for all the long white spaces at the bottom of the RH Line rather than printing something in support of a woman City Council member, of which you have plenty. We keep records.
One thing I won’t miss is when all people count and not just the men.Great jobI just wanted to give a shout out for the Mountain View boy’s volleyball team. They are now 10 wins in a row.
Great job, gentlemen.Spending taxpayers’ moneyIt’s no surprise to see recent articles telling how Polis and his progressive legislators are overextended when spending taxpayer money. An example is bill HB 22-1289 that was passed and signed by him in 2022 that expands Medicaid to tens of thousands of illegal aliens.
