Review: Netflix’s Keira Knightley-led spy thriller Black Doves is preposterously entertaining

The London of Black Doves (Netflix, from Thursday, December 5), a shiny stocking-filler with a difference, is straight out of the Richard Curtis school of glossy seasonal entertainment. It’s a gleaming metropolis of gigantic Christmas trees, dazzling lights, wet shimmering pavements, revellers exuding goodwill to all, and a bell-ringing Santa joining in a jolly pub singalong of Fairytale of New York ..
