Returning Tony Ynot comes alive late as Benilde escapes EAC, nears Final Four spot

Tony Ynot made up for lost time, fueling De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's late surge against Emilio Aguinaldo College, 69-65, as the Blazers inched closer to a Final Four spot of NCAA Season 100 on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre. Ynot, who missed Benilde's last three games, notched six of their last 10 points as the Blazers shrugged off a lethargic start to stretch their winning streak to five and improve to 11-2. The Generals, on the other hand, failed to keep hold of their early lead to fall to a 6-7 card, tying Lyceum of the Philippines University at the fifth spot.
