AFTER an enforced break (due to Covid-19), the Annual Over 40s Limerick Charity Soccer Tournament will return to Janesboro FC on June 21 and 22.Since its inception way back in 1982, the popular tournament has raised around €350,000 for local charities.“Having been approached by a number of clubs over the past few months regarding the possibility of recommencing the tournament, the organising committee were more than surprised with the level of interest shown by the clubs especially after such a long break,” commented committee member Gerry McCormack.
