A restaurant in Bolton with chefs from "top-notch hotels in India" has got through to the final of The Bolton News' Best Curry House 2024 awards.

A restaurant in Bolton with chefs from "top-notch hotels in India" has got through to the final of The Bolton News' Best Curry House 2024 awards. Spice Valley in Horwich is one of the 10 finalists. The people of Bolton took to the polls earlier this month to nominate their favourite place for a curry in the borough, with the 10 best being put through to the final.

Spice Valley has been serving its customers for 21 years and has built up a loyal following in that time. Its Horwich branch, which is on Lee Lane, has over 900 Tripadvisor reviews. It is known for its authentic Indian cuisine, cooked by chefs who formerly worked at "top-notch" hotels in India.

"We have got a 5 star Food Hygiene Rating, with a massive number of Tripadvisor reviews. Our locals has been very supportive to us, as we have been in Bolton for the last 21 years.

"Spice Valley is an authentic Indian, all our chefs are from top-notch hotels in India, who are well-trained and qualified to serve everyone with authentic Indian food." The restaurant also has a location in Egerton, which has also been nominated in these awards . The branch opened last November, with its owners wanting a location nearer to much of their customer-base, who came to to the brand when it was based at The Valley Retail Park in Astley Bridge.
