Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to start Sunday's game against the visiting Detroit Lions, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday. Love was listed as questionable with a groin injury he sustained in the Packers' 30-27 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. Fellow quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love in the third quarter and led Green Bay (6-2) to its fourth straight win.
Love did not participate in Wednesday's practice and was a limited participant in the sessions on Thursday and Friday. Love completed 14 of 22 passes for 196 yards with one interception last Sunday. Willis went 4 of 5 for 56 yards and a touchdown.
