BACKGROUND reports have been ordered at Selkirk Sheriff Court into a 36-year-old man who admitted carrying out a knife attack. Daniel Ross pleaded guilty on indictment to assaulting a man to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement by striking him on the body with the blade. The attack happened at Ross’ home in Gala Park Court, Galashiels, on August 9 last year.
Four cannabis plants were also found by police and Ross pleaded guilty to a second charge of producing a controlled drug.
