Last month, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' house in Belton, Missouri was burglarized. However, it wasn't until this week that people found about about the break-in. Mahomes isn't the only player on the Chiefs who fell victim to a string of burglaries.
His longtime teammate, Travis Kelce, learned on Oct. 7 that his home in Leawood, Kansas was also broken into. According to TMZ, roughly $20,000 in cash was stolen from the All-Pro tight end.
Apparently, the Mahomes family also had valuables stolen from their home. According to The U.S.
Sun , jewelry and designer bags that belonged to Brittany Mahomes were swiped. A few jerseys that belong to Patrick Mahomes were also stolen, per the report. Earlier this week, Mahomes spoke to the media about this situation.
He's obviously frustrated that someone invaded what's supposed to be his family's safe space. "I mean, obviously it’s frustrating," Mahomes told reporters . "It’s disappointing.
