Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz could miss at least one of Germany’s two Nations League games in the next week, and it sounds like it is due to illness. Via @iMiaSanMia : Florian Wirtz has not trained with the team yet this week due to an infection and is a doubt for Saturday’s game against Bosnia [SID] Germany plays Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday and Hungary on Tuesday. If Wirtz is not able to go, perhaps it opens the door for others — like Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané or Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt — to step into the attacking lines.
Germany will also be without the likes of VfB Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav, so this could be a challenging period for Die Mannschaft .
