A Kamala Harris mural in Atlanta was painted over after she lost to Donald Trump in the presidential election . Videos posted Friday to social platforms such as X show the mural by Chris Clark in the Historic West End of Atlanta being removed and turned into a blank slate. Furious internet users replied to the posts expressing frustration that it was being removed so quickly - only a few days after Harris' defeat.

Later, Clark took to social media to address the issue. He wrote: “I don’t make the decision as to how long the murals stay up. I don’t have the info.

He said "trolls" had already been leaving nasty remarks on his social media pages "They are so happy and joyous to see it come down," he said of the trolls. "But you know what brings me joy? Being able to wake up everyday and do what I love for a living.
