Remote voting to be used in local council elections in Kyrgyzstan

- The Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Kyrgyzstan was ordered to apply remote voting by the order of President on dissolution of local councils and appointment of local council elections dated September 6, 2024. The remote voting is used for implementation of the active voting rights of citizens included in the voters’ list, and unable to vote at the polling station in place of permanent registration and having submitted an application for participation in remote voting. During the remote voting, implementation of active voting rights and forming of remote voting results taking into account guarantee of expression of voters’ will and observance of secrecy of voting will be ensured.
