A stunning Cornwall beach lauded for its unspoiled natural beauty and clear waters has gone viral on TikTok and earned the title of the “UK’s best ” by visitors. Nanjizal Bay Beach is located in St Levan, Cornwall, and is also known as Mill Bay. Many of the beach’s visitors will find it as the end point of a walk from Lands End, which takes them above the cliffs with scenic views of the coast and picturesque rock formations.

The TikTok video showcasing the beach has more than 290,000 views and 27,000 likes, and is captioned: "POV you found the best beach in the UK." One of the commenters wrote: "Surely not in the UK?". Another said that whenever they went to the beach it felt like they were "abroad".

The beach is known for its unusually clear blue water, and has a sea cave known as the “Song of the Sea”. There are two natural pools within the cave known as Big and Little Muzzan - in which visitors enjoy swimming. Its name, Nanjizal, comes from the Cornish “Porth Nansusel” which means “Cove of the Howling Valley”.

It is also regarded by wildlife lovers as a great place to bird watch, thanks to its location within a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The beach also hosts a distinctive rock formation known as “Diamond Horse”, or Zawn Pyg to locals. Visitors on TripAdvisor have highlighted the beach’s “beautiful turquoise water and white sand” as well as its “clear pools to splash around in”.

Others stated that the walk to the beach was “glorious” with incredible views, and said people could enjoy the “peace and tranquillity” of the unspoiled beach. There are no lifeguards at the beach due to its remote location and while you can go swimming, it is advised that you remain cautious as the tides and conditions can vary. Dogs are welcome all year round, which also makes it a popular destination for those with pets.
