A spring tradition continues with the annual Brenda's Angels Tennis Tournament. The tournament will be held April 24-27 at the Weeks Tennis Center, 1745 Two Notch Road. The cost to enter the first event is $88.
60, and $15 for the second event with a maximum of two events per person. Categories include women, men and mixed doubles. The tournament opens with registration on Friday, April 25.
There will be wings and chicken strips provided by Grumpy's and week-end music by DJ Byron Bush. Saturday, April 26, will feature breakfast and lunch, music, and the raffle drawing at 2:00. You do not have to be present to win.
The tournament will close out on Sunday with music, mimosas, and bloody mary's, as well as the tennis championship match. Tournament registration is due by April 20. Spectator tickets are $30 for the weekend, and participants are urged to bring a folding chair.
Raffle tickets are available for $25 at brendasangels.com or from any committee member. Raffle items include a diamond pendant, electronics, gift cards, gift baskets and more, according to the Brenda's Angels Tennis Tournament Facebook page.
Brenda's Angels is an Aiken-based nonprofit organization that provides well-being and financial support to pancreatic cancer patients in need.
