JAIPUR: A man has been arrested for allegedly driving a Mahindra Thar on a railway track to shoot a reel. The incident took place in Rajasthan's Jaipur. He was driving his SUV on the railway track to shoot a reel.
He saw a train approaching and tried to move the vehicle out of the tracks but could not. The vehicle got stuck on the railway track. A major accident was averted as the loco pilot of the train, who saw the vehicle on the track from a distance, stopped the train.
Later, police officials and railway officials rushed to the spot and pulled the Thar out of the track. A video of the incident is going viral on social media. In the video, police officers can be seen trying to move the vehicle off the railway track.
It is also reported that the accused tried to escape with the Thar soon after it was taken out. He quickly reversed the vehicle for about 20-30 meters to get it back on the road and hit three people in the process. The police team then followed the Thar and nabbed the accused.
