It’s not unusual for recruits to decommit after a rough game from their chosen school, but seeing it happen while at said school's game is almost unheard of. That’s exactly what happened on Saturday when a fan sitting behind the recruit caught him on video typing up his decommitment statement. The video was shared on social media and spread quickly.

It was likely taken right after the Mississippi State Bulldogs fell behind 10-0 early to the 2-6 UMass Minutemen. Mississippi State came in as an 18.5-point favorite, according to BetMGM Sportsbook .

"I'm thankful for all the support from Mississippi State but I will be decommitting...

," the recruit wrote. Mississippi State has had a dreadful season so far. After opening the season with a 56-7 win over Eastern Kentucky, the Bulldogs have lost seven straight, including five SEC games.
