ESPN analyst Rece Davis hosted the initial College Football Playoff rankings show on Tuesday, revealing the current landscape for the upcoming 12-team postseason. After reviewing the rankings, Davis mentioned a couple of teams that he believes are underrated. The current top four teams include Oregon at No.

1, Ohio State at No. 2, Georgia at No. 3 and Miami at No.

4. While Davis mentioned that Oregon has proven to be the most consistent team in college football, he explained that no matter where they stand in the rankings, you should never bet against the Bulldogs. "There's one team I wouldn't bet against," Davis said.

"It's Georgia." Kirby Lee-Imagn Images The Bulldogs sit at 7-1 (5-1 SEC) after a Week 10 win over the Florida Gators. Their only loss came against the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road in Week 5.

Quarterback Carson Beck came into the year as a Heisman Trophy candidate, but he's been highly inconsistent for the Bulldogs. So far this season, Beck has posted 17 touchdowns and 2,302 yards but has added 11 interceptions. Despite the struggles from Beck, Georgia's depth, most notably on the defensive end, has helped the Bulldogs thrive for much of the year.

They have a couple of studs at linebacker like Jalon Walker, who has recorded two fumble recoveries, 4.5 sacks and 35 total tackles and CJ Allen, who's produced one interception and 41 total tackles. While Walker and Allen are both stars in Athens, Georgia, the real superstar on the defensive end is safety Malaki Starks.

He leads the team with 43 total tackles and has recorded one interception this season. Related: Fans Left Speechless by Initial College Football Playoff Rankings Related: Alabama Wide Receiver Ryan Williams Makes NIL Announcement Before LSU Game.
