This year’s I’m a Celebrity...
Get Me Out of Here! Is only a couple of days in, but Rebekah Vardy has already given harsh judgements of the competitors. Rebekah did her own time in the jungle back in 2017, and is now something of an expert on the ins and outs of the show and her latest judgement came after watching Tuesday night’s show, which saw plenty of up and downs. While spirits were high as the campers starting getting to know each other and bonding, they also shared an emotional moment after Barry McGuigan opened up about the tragic death of his daughter .
While he and GK Barry were safe from Rebekah’s judgement, BBC Radio 1 star Dean McCullough wasn’t so lucky. Rebekah made it clear she thought he was sucking up to her nemesis and fellow WAG Coleen Rooney , and predicted that the jungle would soon beat him. “Dean, Dean and his cosying up to Coleen.
It’s so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he’s going to get airtime from it,” Rebekah raged in her I’m a Celeb column in The Sun . “I’m actually really glad he got voted to do the trial because actually I find him really, really irritating.
Give it a rest, mate. I don’t think it’ll take long for the public to get bored of him at all,” she added in her damning commentary. Rebekah has already made it clear that she’s got it in for Coleen and her allies in her column.
She rushed back from a glamorous Dubai trip in time for the show, and her pals have made it clear that Rebekah wouldn’t risk missing a second of Coleen’s time in the jungle. While she said in the past that she was over the Wagatha Christie drama, Rebekah still can’t resist throwing a few barbs in Coleen’s direction. Not even giving Coleen a few days to settle into the challenging contest, Rebekah happily wrote “Coleen sank in the river twice.
It's the gift that keeps on giving” after Sunday’s opening episode. Although Rebekah laid into Dean for his chattiness with Coleen, she admitted that she was moved from anger to sadness after watching Barry’s heartbreaking admission about his daughter. “But tonight belongs to Barry.
What an incredible human being. From Barry’s bootcamp as we saw with Barry putting on some exercises for some of his campmates to talking about losing his daughter in an unimaginable way. No parent should ever ever have to go through something like that.
To show his vulnerability like he did was incredibly brave,” she said. Barry’s daughter, Danika, was one of the four children he shares with his wife Sandra. Tragically, she died in 2019 just a few weeks after she was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Rebekah wasn’t the only person moved by Barry bursting into tears, with host Ant McPartlin admitting that he was “crying” when he watched the scene. Follow Mirror Celebs on Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads ..
