Wolverhampton council has moved a memorial set up for One Direction's Liam Payne after his unexpected death in Argentina. Fans of the iconic singer, as well as community members, had laid flowers and memorials near the Civic Center , but the city officials have now relocated these tributes . The switch was made to accommodate remembrance services scheduled this weekend at the initial site.

The council explained that with Remembrance services imminent at the Cenotaph on Sunday and Monday, they have "respectfully relocated" the heartfelt tributes to West Park's bandstand. The statement continued, inviting people to leave any commemorative items for Liam at the newly established memorial.



A touching image shared by the council captures the heart-shaped arrangement of the floral dedications at the bandstand. Positioned prominently within the heart were photos, handwritten notes, England's flag, and balloons - all paying homage to the star. Liam was mourned by One Direction fans and others who wanted to celebrate his life and accomplishments.

Liam's death triggered a significant investigation in Argentina, and this week three individuals were charged in relation to his death. The later singer died on October 16 after falling from a balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The singer was a member of the popular boy band One Direction, which also included Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger founded the global boy band on the popular reality television show The X Factor in 2010. On Thursday, November 7, a press release from the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office stated that the former One Direction member's toxicological results had been shared to his family revealing he had traces of "alcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressants." In Spanish, the release stated: "This conclusion was reached after the complete toxicology tests on urine, blood and vitreous humor.
