Realme GT 7 is being pitched as a gamer-centric phone with support for popular titles like BGMI at the highest graphics settings. Realme GT 7 is now gearing up for its launch in the Indian market. Realme has officially teased the smartphone’s arrival through its social media channels, highlighting its impressive gaming capabilities.
The device is confirmed to offer up to six hours of high-frame-rate gameplay on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). It is expected to join the Realme GT 7 Pro in the company’s latest lineup of gaming-focused smartphones in India. The smartphone has been co-tested with Krafton, the developer of BGMI, to ensure optimised gaming performance. Following the Realme GT 7 Pro’s Indian launch in November 2024, the GT 7 is anticipated to bring a host of gaming-centric features tailored for Indian gamers. A teaser shared by the brand suggests that the Realme GT 7 will be capable of delivering a consistent 120 fps experience on BGMI for up to six hours.
While it is expected to feature specifications similar to its Chinese variant, some differences — like those seen in battery capacities between the Chinese and Indian versions of the GT 7 Pro — may occur. Realme GT 7 Specifications Expected In China, the Realme GT 7 comes with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,280×2,800 pixels) OLED display, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 6500 nits, a 2,600Hz instant touch sampling rate, full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and a 4,608Hz PWM dimming rate.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. It runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
For photography, the Realme GT 7 houses a dual rear camera setup, which has a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens offering a 112-degree field of view. On the front, the device sports a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone also comes equipped with a 7,700mm2 VC cooling system, enhanced with graphene ice-sensing double-layer technology to effectively manage heat during intensive usage.
