realme 14x budget phone unveiled with 50MP camera, 120Hz display

realme has unveiled the realme 14x in Malaysia. The budget smartphone is priced at MYR 1,099, which is roughly converts to USD 251 or around PHP 14,640. Like most handsets these days, the realme 14x is built to withstand daily life with military-grade shock resistance for drop protection and an IP64 rating for dust and water ingress.

At the front, the realme 14x has a 6.67-inch display with an HD 1604×720 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it comes with a Rainwater Smart Touch feature allows operation of the screen even with wet fingers.



Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 5G connectivity powers the phone. It comes in 8GB+26GB configuration and packs a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The phone has a 50MP main camera at the back.

The product images reveal a secondary lens, though it remains unnamed. Additionally, an 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. The realme 14x is available in Peridot and Black colors.

It is priced at MYR 1,099 and can be purchased in Malaysia through TikTok Shop. Currently, there is no information regarding its availability in Philippines. Stay tuned updates.
