Reader's View: Harris would continue to destroy Constitution

The Oct. 25 letter, " Take Trump's military comments seriously ," seemed meant to instill fear. According to CNN and Fox News , former President Donald Trump said that if “the enemy from within," meaning the radical left, gets violent over the election, the National Guard should be used and, if necessary, the military.

Have people forgotten the “inside enemy” on 9/11? The letter writer said he spent his career “defending the Constitution,” yet the letter failed to acknowledge the many obvious failings of the Biden/Harris administration to protect our Constitution, including open borders and releasing criminals.



Under Biden and Harris, fewer Americans seem to trust the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. How many have taken the jabs yet still get COVID-19, plus its side effects? Trump's unnecessary and controversial dictator-for-a-day comment was his stressing the urgency of immediately closing our dangerous southern border and stemming the invasion Biden and Harris do not seem to care to stop. Was the letter in agreement with violating our constitutional right to be safe? Trump wasn't a dictator in his first term as president.

I agreed with the letter’s call for “preserving the values we fought to protect” and to “safeguard our future." But I feel these are things Harris would destroy. Jesus said, "Do not be deceived.
