But now there is speculation that the outspoken former taxi driver has been quietly planning his Central Coast move for the last three years. The radio star flogged off his massive semi-rural estate in Dural for an undisclosed sum after listing it with a $7.7million to $8million price guide, the publication reported in June 2021.
Sprawling over 2.19 hectares, the amazing property boasts two dwellings, including a five-bedroom homestead that Hadley built in 2006. Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph reported on Friday that Hadley was expected to be on the air for another three years after making the Central Coast purchase.

'I achieved far more than I have thought I would,' he told listeners on Thursday. He explained his children Dan, Laura, Emma and Sarah, made 'many sacrifices over the years' as he pursued his career and it was time to return the favour. 'Seven years ago, I had no grandchildren and now I have seven, and I want to spend more time in the company of Ava, Noah, Ella, Lola, Tommy, Remi and Millar along with their parents,' he said.
