A rare Pokémon card worth up to £30,000 was reunited with its owner after it was stolen and put on sale on Facebook. Sussex Police say they were able to return rare Charizard card after was taken from a company which “grades” Pokémon cards to determine how valuable they are. The card, judged to be worth between £20,000 and £30,000, was found at a 23-year-old man’s address.
He later admitted stealing it after being arrested on suspicion of theft. A spokesman for Sussex Police said they were called to the grading company in Heathfield after the card had been sent back to its owner in Essex but did not reach them. The card was later found being sold on Facebook.

Sussex Police PC Alan Russell said: “We identified a line of enquiry quickly and were able act quickly. “It was a valuable item which meant a lot to the victim who had it stolen. “The victim is happy that his card was returned and our teams worked really well together to solve this case.
