Many South Korean artists shared their tributes on social media after Wheesung was recently found dead at his home. Singer Wheesung was recently found dead at his home in Seoul, South Korea and police are planning to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. In the coming days, the singer was set to collaborate with KCM for the concert titled The Story, but now, it has been cancelled.

His sudden passing has shocked and saddened the music industry. Along with his fans, many artists, including Verbal Jint, Yun Min-soo, Paloalto, Changmo, San E and Harisu, have shared their tributes on social media. Rapper Verbal Jint honoured Wheesung by sharing a plain black image on Instagram.



Along with the post, he wrote, “It was an honour and thank you, I’ve been through so much trouble." Singer Yun Min-soo paid tribute to Wheesung by posting a video from a past music show where they performed together. Remembering Wheesung’s pure nature, the artist shared, “I will always remember your innocence.

Let’s meet again someday and sing together." Rapper Paloalto, who shared a close bond with Wheesung, remembered his early days and shared that even before Wheesung made his official debut, he was already a known star among R&B music fans. He wrote, “He was an artist who was highly anticipated among R&B fans even before his debut.

After his first album was released, I went to his first concert. He’s a singer with many memories from my twenties. This is shocking and heartbreaking.

Thank you for being part of my good memories in my youth through your music." Taking to Instagram stories, Changmo shared, “Thank you for having a great impact on my life with your amazing music. Rest in peace.

" San E wrote, “I can’t believe it, I’m in shock. Rest in peace wheesung." Harisu also expressed sympathy by sharing a simple message, “My deepest condolences.

" Reportedly, Police stated that Wheesung was found unconscious at his home in Seoul’s Gwangjin District. There were no signs of forced entry or foul play. His family contacted emergency services, but by the time help arrived, he was declared dead by the authorities.
