The top two teams earn automatic promotion to the Championship, with third to sixth entering the play-offs. However, Birmingham's victory last night guarantees them at least a play-off spot, although they would need a significant drop in form to finish outside the top two.

Davies has been a key player since joining at the start of the season, making 38 appearances in all competitions. Dowell, who joined in January after being deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox, has scored three goals and provided as many assists in his 16 appearances. It remains to be seen if the pair have a future at Rangers amidst anticipated summer changes.
