January 29, 1952—September 16, 2024 Randy Joe Porter, 72, of Spring Creek, NV passed away at home surrounded by his family on September 16th, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband and a cherished father to his children. For 35 years, Randy worked with Snyder Mechanical as a master welder.

His employer and coworkers regarded him as “a respected mentor to many. He was the model leader everyone loved to work with. Patient, smart, diligent, and loyal, made him an invaluable asset.

An irreplaceable employee.” Randy was often found tinkering out in his shop, working on his Chevy Nova or many house projects. His Sundays were spent taking his two beloved huskies for a ride in their “dog truck.

” But no matter what he had going on, he was always there when his family needed him. He loved camping in his early years and spending time with family and friends. He was a strong, steady man who we all looked up to.

He was patient, loving, and larger than life. The most special man we’ve ever met. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marie and his in-laws Reuben and Joanne Wenndt.

He is survived by his wife Joleen and his children Aaron Porter (Rebecca), Teresa Dexter (Zeke), Tara Wade (Clint), and Jessica Carter (Jason). Grandkids, in order, Gajge, Keagan, Tanner, Jace, Anthony, Sydney, Rhett, Alex, Isaac, McKenna, and Elizabeth. Along with eleven great-grandchildren.

Each of us will carry a piece of his legacy wherever we go, for he is always in our hearts. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
