Ramaphosa appoints CRL Rights Commission members

President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed CRL Rights Commission members for a five year period.

Home | Ramaphosa appoints CRL Rights Commission members President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed members of the Commission for the Promotion of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) for a period of five years. This after a selection panel chaired by Prof Itumeleng Mosala made recommendations to him. Of the 12 members appointed to the CRL Rights Commission, Ramaphosa has appointed Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva and George Mahlangu as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Commission respectively.

In a statement released by the Presidency, Ramaphosa expressed his appreciation to the outgoing commissioners for their service and wished the new Commission well in promoting and defending the rights of cultural, religious and linguistic communities. SABC © 2024.
