Most celebrities are known for their disciplined lifestyles, often setting trends in fitness and wellness through balanced diets and healthy habits. From following a fitness regime to eating meals at a specific time is a part of their lifestyle. Just like any other Bollywood celebrity Rakul Preet Singh too follows this regime to maintain herself.
She recently appeared on Ranveer Allahabadia’s Beerbicep podcast where she shared her detailed diet routine – from what she eats in a day to what time is ideal for her meals, she explains it all. The Doctor G actress shares, “I start my day with hot water, followed by either cinnamon or turmeric water. I then have 5 soaked almonds, a soaked walnut, and my ghee coffee.
” For her post-workout, Rakul prefers having a protein smoothie. “My breakfast is usually hearty, like eggs with poha or a sprouts cheela.” She added, “Lunch is typically rice or a jowar roti with vegetables and a protein like fish or chicken.
My 4:30-5 pm snack could be a protein chia seed pudding, fruit with yogurt, peanut butter toast, or some nuts while on set.” She also revealed that she tries to finish dinner by 7 pm, with a smaller carb portion, protein, and vegetables. So why do celebrities like Rakul try to finish dinner by 7 pm? Having an early dinner routine has many health benefits.
Eating dinner earlier in the evening, especially between 5 pm and 7 pm, can have a positive impact on both physical and mental well-being. Here’s Why Having An Early Dinner Can Be Beneficial For Your Health- Improved Digestion: When you eat dinner early, you give your body more time to properly digest food before going to bed. This helps in reducing indigestion, bloating, and acid reflux, which are common issues that happen when you eat late at night.
- Better Sleep Quality: Having dinner a few hours before bed allows your body to wind down, promoting better sleep. When your body isn’t focused on digesting a heavy meal, you can fall asleep faster and enjoy a more restful night. Studies suggest that people who eat earlier often experience fewer sleep disturbances.
- Weight Management: Eating dinner earlier can help in weight management. Late-night eating has been linked to weight gain because the body tends to store more calories as fat during inactive periods. By having an early dinner, you give your body time to burn off the calories, which can lead to better weight control.
- Increased Energy Levels: When you eat early and sleep well, you’re likely to wake up feeling more refreshed and energetic. This helps you stay productive throughout the day, reducing brain fog and improving overall mental clarity. - Improved Metabolism: Research shows that eating earlier aligns with your body’s natural circadian rhythm, which can enhance metabolism and prevent metabolic disorders like diabetes and heart disease.
