As we wake up Thursday morning, a few stray showers look to be moving about the region, however, they will be staying relatively weak and widely scattered in the morning. As the first round of rain clears, a bit of afternoon sunshine gets temperatures into the upper 70s. We are tracking the chance for some stronger storms developing Thursday afternoon.

By the late afternoon and early evening, there will remain a chance for severe storms bringing some strong winds and hail moving ahead of a cold front sweeping through the region. To wrap up the week, we are still tracking a couple warm days in the 70s with plenty of sun for Friday, but then a few more clouds for the start of the weekend. Saturday night, we are still keeping an eye on the chance for a few scattered showers.

Then by Sunday, temperatures drop down into the 60s for highs for a cooler and seasonable start to next week..
