Rain likely in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema today

Cyclone Fengal, which crossed the north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on Saturday night, weakened into a deep depression by Sunday evening. The system triggered heavy rainfall and strong winds over the south coastal and Rayalaseema districts of Andhra Pradesh, flooding low-lying areas in parts of Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, Annamayya, and YSR Kadapa districts. It also caused significant damage to crops in several regions.
