Growing Together in Westminster Avenue, Radcliffe, hosts various events to help local residents in the area. The centre functions as a hub for several charities and community groups and opened its doors to the public earlier this year. The group have linked up with Blackburn-based Opus Broadband which has been working with a number of charities, schools, community groups and social housing providers across the North West.
The company has been installing free broadband services as part of their "Internet for Everyone Campaign". The firm has also signed up to the Charter for Digital Inclusion launched by the Digital Poverty Alliance. Growing Together is one of the most active community groups in the area and take part in everything from delivering food to the most vulnerable to hosting women's events.
