Queensland man Helio Taiyang Richardson who allegedly fled Australia following rape charges extradited from Thailand after arrest

A Queensland kinesiologist accused of rape has been arrested in Thailand and is being extradited to Australia after he allegedly fled two years ago. Richardson was charged with rape in Queensland in 2018 and reportedly left Australia while facing charges in 2022. Richardson arrived back in Sydney on Thursday morning ahead of his to Queensland.



Queensland Police Service said it was working with international and national partner agencies on the extradition of a 62-year-old man back to Australia..
