Qatar-Kyrgyzstan match to be officiated by referee Fu Ming

- The 3rd round of the World Cup 2026 qualifier in Asia will be held in Doha on October 10. The game will be served by a team of judges from Singapore led by Bin Zhahar Muhammad Taqi Al-Zhaafar. He will be assisted by Bin Abdul Hashim Hasim Abdul Hassan and Min Lan Andy Tan.

Bin Shukri Suhaizy from Malaysia appointed as the reserve arbitrator. The VAR will be Iida Jumpei from Japan, and his assistant will be Fu Ming from China. The match between Kyrgyzstan and Qatar will be officiated by referee Fu Ming from China.



Fu Ming became known for Kyrgyzstani fans after the match 8/1 final of the Asian Cup 2019. He was officiating the match between Qatar and Kyrgyzstan. In that game, the Chinese referee became known by several controversial decisions made towards the Kyrgyz team.

Fu Ming has already officiated the match of the national football teams of Kyrgyzstan in Asian Cup in Qatar. In the match against Saudi Arabia the Chinese was also the VAR referee and twice told the chief judge that violations by the Kyrgyz national team players were worthy of red cards..
