Qatar conclude 3x3 Asian Cup campaign after loss to China

Doha: The Qatari 3x3 basketball team were eliminated from the eighth edition of the Asian Cup after losing to China 19-11 in the quarter-finals yesterday. 

The Qatari team started the tournament with a strong performance, achieving a valuable 21-16 victory over Vietnam in the first game of Group D. However, they suffered a 17-15 loss to New Zealand in the second round, despite this, they still managed to reach the knockout rounds.

In the quarter-finals, the Qatari team faced China in a tough game, but they were unable to keep up with their opponent, losing and exiting the competition.

The tournament saw the participation of 48 teams from across the continent, in both the men’s and women’s categories. Qatar squad for the tournament included Nadim Muslik, Ahmed Saeed Mohammed, Aladji Magassa, and Mohammed Hashem.



Despite being eliminated in the quarters, the team performed well in the tournament and hopes to achieve even better results in future events.
