WATCH Allu Arjun faces legal trouble The 'Pushpa' actor was taken into custody from his residence and subsequently produced before a local court, which remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody. However, his legal team swiftly moved the Telangana High Court and secured interim bail. Before the High Court order was issued, Arjun was briefly lodged at Chanchalguda Prison.

The arrest stems from a tragic incident on December 4 at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, where a stampede-like situation erupted as thousands of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor at the premiere of his blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. The chaos claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman and left her eight-year-old son hospitalised. After the incident, police filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station.

The case was based on a complaint from the deceased woman’s family. Meanwhile, police increased security outside the actor’s home, expecting a crowd of fans after his release..
