Pushpa 2 ends week 8 with Rs 2.72 crore collection

Allu Arjun ’s Pushpa 2 has successfully completed its eighth week at the Indian box office, continuing its impressive theatrical run despite debuting on OTT. According to early estimates, the film earned approximately Rs 12 lakh on its eighth Thursday, bringing its total net collection for the week to Rs 2.72 crore.

The action-packed blockbuster, which premiered digitally on Netflix on January 30, continues to draw audiences to theatres, even though its streaming release is attracting a massive viewership. While the film is available in multiple languages on the platform, the Hindi dubbed version has yet to be released. Since its theatrical release, Pushpa 2 has dominated the box office, earning a staggering Rs 725.



8 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 264.8 crore in its second week. By its third week, the film comfortably crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark, with collections of Rs 129.

5 crore. Its momentum slowed in the subsequent weeks, bringing in Rs 69.65 crore in the fourth week and Rs 25.

25 crore in the fifth week. The decline continued, with Pushpa 2 earning Rs 9.7 crore in its sixth week and Rs 5.

85 crore in its seventh week. Despite the natural dip in collections and competition from new releases like Sky Force, Emergency, Game Changer and many other Hollywood releases, Pushpa 2 remains a box office phenomenon and has managed to draw in the masses.
