Punjab's by-elections included four assembly seats: Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal (SC), and Barnala. In the by-elections to Punjab's four Assembly constituencies, voter turnout was around 63.91%.

The Gidderbaha segment had the highest polling at 81.90%, followed by Dera Baba Nanak at 64.01 percent, Barnala at 56.
