Punjab boxing team trials for National Games tomorrow

LAHORE - The Punjab Boxing Association (PBA), supported by Sports Board Punjab, has announced the commencement of trials to select the boxing team that will represent Punjab at 35th National Games in Karachi.

LAHORE - The Punjab Boxing Association (PBA), supported by Sports Board Punjab, has announced the commencement of trials to select the boxing team that will represent Punjab at 35th National Games in Karachi. These trials will begin tomorrow (April 12) at 12:00 pm, at the Nishtar Sports Complex Boxing Arena. Open to all eligible boxers from across Punjab, the trials will follow a merit-based selection process to identify the best talent in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Participants will compete in ten weight categories for each gender including men’s weight categories (in kg): 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, and 90+ and women’s weight categories (in kg): 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 65, 70, 75, and 80. Boxers eligible to participate must have a date of birth between Jan 1, 1986, and Dec 31, 2006. To ensure a smooth verification process, all participants are required to bring two passport-sized photographs and their original CNIC.
