Telecommunications provider PT&T Corp. has partnered with Australian tech firm Netlinkz Ltd., establishing a joint venture aimed at revolutionizing network security and connectivity for businesses across the country.

In a news release, PT&T said the joint venture will serve as the Netlinkz’ Philippines hub for its products, such as Virtual Secured Network Plus (VSN+). The telco said the PT&T-Netlinkz joint venture will also leverage the availability of broadband connectivity provided by smaller, portable, and mobile satellite dishes offering broadband internet to previously inaccessible regions. Through this partnership, the telco said enterprises throughout the country, particularly in areas historically underserved by traditional fiber internet providers, will gain access to high-speed, low-latency connectivity with enterprise-grade network security.

PT&T said the joint venture’s scope extends beyond satellite broadband services and will also introduce a comprehensive suite of IT solutions—further strengthening the digital capabilities of Filipino businesses. Moreover, Netlinkz will bring its core solutions in Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) and cybersecurity to the Philippine market. These solutions, already trusted by leading enterprises globally, will enable Filipino businesses to enhance operational efficiency, secure their data, and maintain seamless connectivity, according to PT&T.

The telco said the focus on SDWAN and advanced cybersecurity will empower businesses to safeguard their digital assets, optimize network infrastructure, and maintain agility amid rapid technological advancements. PT&T said the introduction of Netlinkz’ VSN+, SDWAN, and advanced cybersecurity services to the country will empower businesses “to achieve new levels of performance, security, and growth.” “We are thrilled to collaborate with PT&T to bring our advanced VSN+, satellite internet, and cybersecurity solutions to the Philippines,” said James Tsiolis, CEO of Netlinkz.

“This joint venture combines our global expertise with PT&T’s local insights, delivering top-tier services that cater to the evolving needs of businesses in the region.'' For his part, PT&T president and CEO James Velasquez said, “Our partnership with Netlinkz marks a significant milestone for PT&T.” “Together, we are poised to transform network security and connectivity across the Philippines, providing innovative technology solutions that will empower our clients to thrive in today’s fast-paced, digital-first environment,” said Velasquez.
