PS5, PS4 the Last Consoles to Unbox Action Figure Shooter Hypercharge Later This Year

Let’s be honest, as PlayStation owners, it’s not often we get games last. Publishers and developers usually prioritise Sony’s systems, as the market is too large to ignore. In the case of uber-popular action figure shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed , the PS5 and PS4 platforms have been made to wait.

The title – which first launched on PC and the Nintendo Switch all the way back in 2020 before being ported to Xbox last year – sold over 100,000 units on Microsoft’s platform alone, a big deal for a release without a publisher or an Xbox Game Pass deal. “We’ve had thousands of fans on social media asking us if and when it would be coming to PlayStation,” said Joe Henson, creative gameplay and marketing director. “You asked, so we’ve delivered and are so pleased to announce that PlayStation players will get to join in on the fun soon.
