Proposal for VEP implementation to be postponed

WITH the VEP (Vehicle Entry Permit) Oct 1 deadline looming, hundreds of Singaporean motorists who have not been successful in getting the permit will soon be denied entry into Malaysia. This is not due to a lack of effort on their part. TCSENS, the vendor overseeing the VEP project, seems to have underestimated the enormity of the project.
