Property tax: Offices open on Sat, Sun

Ludhiana: Over 85,000 building owners are yet to pay property tax for the current financial year. The window for availing 10% rebate on payment of the tax is open till September 30. The civic body will keep suvidha kendras open on Saturday (Sep 21) and Sunday (Sep 22) for the convenience of the residents.

The suvidha kendras will remain open till 5 pm. Officials said the residents can also avail 10% rebate on payment of water-sewer user charges for the current financial year by September 30. For this, additional staff has been deputed in zonal MC offices.
