Producer Pragya Kapoor says, "Our vision is to create films that transcend boundaries!"

Producer Pragya Kapoor is amongst a rare breed of female producers who are making a mark in the Hindi film industry. Pragya turned a producer with the hit and unanimously loved romantic film Kedarnath that starred Sushant Singh Rajput and marked the debut of Sara Ali Khan in Bollywood. It was directed by the acclaimed film-maker Abhishek Kapoor. Pragya has since then produced the heartfelt romantic film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor and Azaad that marks the debut of Aman Devgn and Rasha Thadani.Pragya wants to create a niche for herself as a producer by scouting for and producing films that celebrate intricate human relationships. She said, “I like emotional films told in an entertaining way and not too preachy and self-righteous. Having said that, as a production house we have to look at storytelling in a more holistic way and not just what I like. We have masses to entertain and directors’ visions to bring to fruition. I would like to build that bridge and connect audiences by landing those stories in a way that they would like to consume them.”The young producer shares her ambitious vision as a producer wanting to take the risk and make content that can be enjoyed by people across the globe. She said, “As a producer, my vision is to create films that transcend boundaries and resonate with audiences worldwide. I believe in playing the game on the main field, where the potential for success is maximum, rather than finding comfort in a niche. While I'm proud to be a woman in a male-dominated industry, I don't want to rely on that as a defining factor. Instead, I want to be recognised for my work, my passion, and my commitment to storytelling.”She added, “At Guy in the Sky Pictures, we have a clear vision - to entertain, to inspire, and to bring people together through our films. We want to create movies that appeal to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or cultural background. We're not just looking to make films for a specific niche or demographic; we're looking to make films that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life, both in India and internationally.”Pragya further said, “For me, success is not just about making films that do well at the box office; it's about creating a lasting impact on our audience, sparking conversations, and leaving a legacy that will outlast us. I believe that with hard work, dedication, and a willingness to take risks, we can achieve this vision and make Guy in the Sky Pictures a household name.”Also Read: Pragya Kapoor celebrates her son Isana’s ninth birthday with emotional post; Kriti Sanon, Twinkle Khanna, and more react
