PRO-BAR gets new 7 patrol cars

THE Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) got a boost in terms of mobility from the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MILG-BARMM). Lawyer Sha Elijah Dumama-Alba, MILG minister, on Friday, December 13, 2024, led the turnover of new seven police patrol vehicles to PRO-BAR. The PRO-BAR said the turnover ceremony was held at the BARMM government center in Cotabato City.

During the ceremony, PRO-BAR said that Alba, emphasized the patrol vehicles are an essential step in enhancing the region’s law enforcement capabilities and ensuring public safety. Alba highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and security for the progress of BARMM and called on the police to use the resources wisely in serving the communities in the region. Police Colonel Julius Cecil Ordoño, officer-in-charge deputy director for administration received the vehicles in behalf of Police Brigadier General Romeo Macapaz, PRO-BAR director.



Ordoño expressed gratitude for the continued support they are receiving from the MILG and the BARMM government, acknowledging that the patrol vehicles would greatly enhance police efforts in maintaining peace and order across the region. The turnover ceremony, which also included the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), underscores the region's commitment to strengthening law enforcement for peace and security. The MOA stated that the PRO-BAR will put to good use the news seven patrol vehicles.
