Prince Harry has appealed to a High Court over the decision to downgrade the level of police protection he receives on his visits back to Britain.

Prince Harry 's latest court appearance made waves on GB News , as former Liberal Democrat minister Norman Baker blasted his claim that he feels unsafe in the UK and branded him overly "obsessed" with security. Pointing to the comparatively high level of gun crime over in the USA, where he has chosen to reside, Baker was left incredulous. He told Eamonn Holmes and Ellie Costello: "There were, in the UK last year, 22 gun murders.

In the US, there were 40,000 gun related incidents and 503 mass shootings - the figures are incredible. He says he feels unsafe in the UK, but he wants to live in the US when all this is going on?" He fought back against the former working royal's claims that he felt "singled out", suggesting that Harry's need for extra security was a personal and "subjective" judgment, not a "professional" one. ‘He feels unsafe in the UK but he wants to live in the US?!’ Former Liberal Democrat Minister Norman Baker reacts to Prince Harry’s appeal to the high court on a decision over his security in Britain.

Harry's return to the UK to challenge the decision over his security comes as Charles and Queen Camilla celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary together. However, sceptics are unsure whether Charles and Harry would have been able to see each other before the former rushed off to Italy for work commitments.

It's an extra-special visit, with Charles making history as the first ever British monarch to address a joint session of Italian parliament. The "incredibly rare" moment is combined with intense talks with Giorgia Meloni who has been working with Britain to resolve issues around illegal immigration. This morning, the GB News stars discussed the "distraction of Prince Harry " after he unexpectedly arrived in court.

Eamonn commented that he seemed to have arranged his own security on this particular visit. Meanwhile a correspondent added that while Harry's latest drama had "knocked the king largely off the front pages", in true royal style he had "kept calm and carried on"..
