Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released their 2024 Christmas card this week much to the delight of royal fans, however it appears this is not their only one. The card released on Monday contained six photographs of the couple's year, including a picture of them embracing their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. Other photographs on the card show the couple in their charitable work, including on their recent overseas trips to Nigeria and Colombia.
However, while the Christmas card was shared across the globe, it has now been reported that the couple - who quit life as senior royals in 2020 - actually have a second card that will not be made public. PEOPLE said it understands that this original card is meant for professional use, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent a separate, private card to close friends and family, which will not be shared publicly. This card is likely to contain more family photographs and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the couple's life in Montecito, the place they have called home since quitting life as senior royals in 2020 It is unknown who will receive this card or whether Harry's royal relatives in the UK will be sent one.
News of the second private card comes just days before Christmas celebrations are set to begin. While 45 members of the Royal Family are set to make their way to Sandringham to spend the day together with King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince Harry is not one of them. Instead, the duke, 40, is believed to be spending the big day at his home in California with Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
It was reported that he did not receive an invite to Sandringham , marking the sixth Christmas he has spent away from his royal relatives. Prince Andrew is reportedly also not to attend Sandringham this year after being involved in another scandal following his friedship with a suspected Chinese spy. It is believed he will instead spend December 25 at Royal Lodge in Windsor with ex wife Sarah Ferguson.
