A school flower project was hailed as a "bloomin' marvellous" success. Castlewood Primary School in Southwater, near Horsham, collaborated with Sussex charity The Budding Foundation and Tates of Sussex garden centre. The partnership allowed children to plant primroses as Mother's Day gifts.

Clive Gravett, founder of The Budding Foundation, said: "Spring has sprung, flowers are budding – there’s hardly a better season in the garden. "It was a joy to be able to work with Tates to help Castlewood School in their project to help pupils engage with horticulture.".
