Primary school praised by Ofsted for 'highly ambitious curriculum'

Woodstock CE Primary School has been rated 'outstanding' in all key areas following an Ofsted inspection.

Inspectors commended Woodstock CE Primary School for its "highly ambitious curriculum, which inspires pupils to become inquisitive and independent learners" following an inspection in February. The school was also rated 'outstanding' for its The report highlighted pupils are curious about the world around them, engaging in mature discussions about global events. Inspectors also noted children are fully immersed in their education, possess an impressive depth of knowledge across a range of subjects, and are well-prepared for the next stage of their academic journey.

Headteacher Anne Hipwell said: "This remarkable achievement is a testament to our entire school community. "Our children’s enthusiasm for learning and their kindness toward one another shine through in everything they do. "We are incredibly proud of them, and deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our staff, parents, volunteers, and governors, who work together to make Woodstock CE Primary such a special place.



" Ofsted also praised the school’s effective approach to personal development, noting pupils demonstrate strong, inclusive attitudes. One pupil described the school as somewhere "you can be yourself and where it is good to be different"..
