Priest Found Dead at Cuttack ISKCON Temple, Suicide Suspected

A pall of sorrow has descended over Cuttack’s Bidanasi area after the body of a priest was found hanging inside the ISKCON temple in CDA Sector-6 early Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sangram Samal, a dedicated priest at the temple. Preliminary reports suggest the possibility of suicide, though police have not ruled out other causes and have launched a full investigation.

The discovery was made by temple staff, who immediately alerted the Cuttack police. A team, along with forensic experts, arrived on the scene to conduct a detailed examination.
